HR IT Business Analyst

HRIS IT Business Analyst

VHBs growing Watertown, MA team is looking for a HR focused IT Business Analyst to join our Corporate Team.

VHBs passionate professionals include engineers, scientists, planners, and designers who partner with public and private clients in the transportation, real estate, institutional, and energy industries, as well as federal, state, and local governments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This individual will be part of the Corporate IT group and play an important role in transforming VHBs people focused systems in support of our Technology Vision, which seeks to modernize our tools and processes, providing improved access to dependable information while simplifying the experience for our employees. The incumbent will partner with our IT and HR staff to help identify and improve existing processes and implement new functionality across VHBs platforms.

Specific responsibilities include:
Work closely with HR team to identify opportunities for process improvements and work with both the HR and IT leadership teams to prioritize and implement recommended projects.

Provide IT project or task management associated with any IT related HR projects.
Work with HR leadership team to set standards and quality control process around employee related data across all enterprise systems.
Develop standard reports and dashboards to support HR, local and regional management, and corporate requirements and needs.

Partner with HR leadership team to develop people analytic reports to leverage the data to address organizational challenges and inefficiencies.
Stay current with the portfolio of HR systems, plan and execute upgrades and enhancements, point person for issues resolution.
Identify and coordinate end user training; creating/maintaining documentation

Minimum of 3 years related project or task management experience implementing and/or managing Enterprise HR systems
Understanding of benefits, compensation, payroll, and performance management and other HR business processes and disciplines

Strong communication and relationship building skills required
Excellent analytic skills with a demonstrated understanding of the concepts and issues unique to the management of HR data
Project management skills and experience a plus.
Experience with UltiPro a plus

Bachelors degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in computer science, business administration or related discipline.
