Facilities Service Coordinator

Department: Corp-Facilities-Watertown
Location: Watertown, MA

Facilities Service Coordinator

VHB is seeking an outgoing, energetic Facilities Service Coordinator to join its corporate headquarters located in Watertown, MA.†The Facilities Service Coordinator will focus on Cafeteria and Executive Conference Center services. to support the employees and visitors of its newly renovated first-class office space. This is a full-time position Monday through Friday from 11a-8p subject to change based on the needs of the company.†


  • Cafeteria Services
    • Set up coffee service area
    • Wash dishes and run dishwasher throughout day
    • Maintain cleanliness of counters and tables
    • Manage cafeteria inventory
    • Stock supplies as needed
    • Oversee equipment maintenance schedules
  • Executive Conference Center Services
    • Manage set up and breakdown of meetings and events
    • Coordinate AV and Facilities needs with IT
    • Ensure all areas are clean and properly stocked with amenities
  • Functions and Events
    • Coordinate inhouse meetings and events including company charitable events
    • Assist with the ordering and preparation of food as necessary
    • Manage set up and breakdown
    • Some occasional evening hours
  • Mini Market Vendor Coordination
    • Monitor quality of deliveries
    • Ensure delivery schedule is met
    • Process maintenance requests
    • Manage staff account cards
  • Office Administration
    • Cover front desk†
    • Other administrative duties as needed
    • Work cohesively with facilities and administrative team members


  • Essential Skills & Experience
    • Customer Service Focused
    • Team oriented, with capability to work independently and meet deadlines
    • Time management, organization, and multi-tasking skills a must
    • Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Outlook, Word, basic Excel)
    • Demonstrated ability to follow safe and sanitary cafeteria working practices
    • Ability to maintain confidential information
    • Able to walk and stand for periods up to 6 hours
    • Able to lift, carry, push and pull objects up to 30 lbs
    • Valid driverís license a plus
    • 1-2 years related work experience in office environment
